Letter to Jacinda Ardern

Task - Write a letter to 

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern

The Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern has been working very hard lately. She might appreciate a nice letter from you.

~Part 1: 

Introduce yourself and explain who you are, and where you go to school. You might wish to include that you have been doing all your learning online during the lockdown.

~Part 2: 

Say something encouraging. Regardless of you and your whanau’s political views you could say something encouraging to her for her job being the Prime Minister of New Zealand.

~Part 3: 

Make a recommendation. Do you have an idea for schools, or maybe for Glen Innes? Maybe an idea for the whole country? Explain it, and why it would be a good (and fair) idea. 

*Don’t just ask for free stuff - She is not Santa Claus!

Dear Rt Hon. Jacinda Ardern

~ i like to say thank you for what you have done to this country Aotearoa New Zealand. I appreciate everything you have done to keep us safe as a good community to show people kindness and that “Bad” is not the way for us.

~you are truly a great person to be our own Prime Minister to help New Zealand grow stronger and bond together more. You are the best person for the job. It must be hard to take all this responsibility to take as if our country were to crumble. But i know you will  keep us safe and keep us together.

~lastly thank you again and again and again for everything you’ve done. XOXO
