 So what i've been up to in the holidays was spent a few weeks with my cousins down at there house, and what i would say about those few weeks where that ever saturday night we would have a wonderful time laughing about hours of running around the house and outside but what i really love and miss is the delicious food that my uncles will make along with me and my cousin Makea along with many more. I just love to eat the food we make every Saturday night. Sometimes we do it on different days or we have to go shopping again or wait for the rukau to grow big again.

If you don't know what rukau is, it's a plant that most families grow in their backyard. It's used to make lu sipi, a polyneasian dish eaten by many polynesians among New Zealand. But specifically my family and i like to wrap the meat in rukau and cover it up with foil and set into the fire to cook up.

Although there are many other things that I have done during the holiday, spending time with my family will always be my highlight for the year.

Literacy Task Option 1

   So currently i'm in New Zealand in the city of Auckland sitting in lockdown witch is isolation, if you never heard about lockdown or been in one it’s basically being kept in a bubble to help save others by staying in your home, if you don't know what i mean it helps people to stay home so that we can stop spreading the virus among the world such as, only going out your homes to get essential items from a local grocery store or dairy down the street.

And also another thing is that there are different types of levels such as 1,2,3 or 4, from 4 being the most dangerous witch means school converts to online school no physical activity due to further notice. And 1 being the most least dangerous meaning you can go back to school and most adults can go back to there normal job and physical activities are back up and parks and beaches will open up and good for us to be normal once again.

Quirky Persuasive Writing

 

Hi there! This is my Quirky Persuasive Writing down below is the details I hope you enjoy!

Statement: “Fox’s should be able to sleep on tables in Hong Kong”.

Place: Hong Kong

Object: Table

Character: Fox

Did you know that Tables are the best thing ever invented by human beings to Fox’s. That there was just a little Sentence on why Fox’s should be able to sleep on tables in Hong Kong. I have 3 reasons why. But I just want to put out that Fox’s are the best pets to cheer you up when you are at your lowest times.

P1: If you didn’t know, tables are the best beds for fox’s to sleep on. It helps them reduce back pain from everyday and night going out hunting for food. And also Hong Kong tables have a world record for making animals fall asleep, it takes fox’s 40-50 seconds for them to fall asleep. And most important, the best tables in Hong Kong are the ones left out in the streets. But the sad thing is that while they sleeping they are often woken up earlier by the sound of yelling and food courts opened by the people of Hong Kong, and not only do they wake up by the noise they wake up by scent of the beautiful aroma by perfectly cooked meals served to the people of Kong Kong.

P2: The reason why Fox’s only like the tables from Honk Kong is because somehow fox’s are spiritually connected to Hong Kong, so if fox’s were forbidden to sleep on the tables in Hong Kong it would destroy them Emotionally and mentaly. And you never know they probably have feelings like us human beings. But besides that, the tables in Hong Kong are the best for them. Not only  are they spiritually connected to Hong Kong they are connected to the people around them.

PG:3 And also one really awesome thing about Foxes sleeping on the tables in Hong Kong, is that there are certain positions that Foxes do that help them sleep on the table. For example they do a position where they hang upside down with their back against the table, and their head hanging to the floor. And what that does is that it reduces back pain and rebuilds energy back for them to go hunting at night.

Term 2 reflection.2021-July-8

Hi there this is my Term 2 reflection for this year 2021, Enjoy!

Best Part: My best part of term 2 was when me and the year 7's went snorkeling while the year 8's had there camp.

Hardest part: To be honest, it wasn't really hard this bisides the asighnments were given to do. 

What i learned: What i learned this term was partner ship,Loyalty,kindness,Reading strategies,Maths stratgies and much more, but what i really learnt this term was to put mu self in other people shoes, and also not to judge a book by its cover.

Fiafia night:update 2021

Good Morning,After noon and evening if you haven't seen my recent post, let me just tell you, you should go and read that before you this, if you don't it won't make sense. any ways last night the 3rd of June 2021 was our Fiafia in 4 years since 2018. And on that year it rained on our poor heads. And then on this year we were blessed with money by our Most high prime minster Jacinda Adern to build a shelter for our audience to stay warm and dry during the performances.

 The thing I'm looking forward to is all the Fiafia items that are set for all of Point England school and their families too. The reason why I'm looking forward to the Fiafia items is because I'm excited to see all my friends and some of my family too, mostly my cousins. But overall I'm glad to be able to perform! Our trip to Matheson Bay

 yesterday the year 7 intermediates went to Matheson Bay to have a snorkel around the sea. And i saw kena,paua,fresh water snails and fish. The ride took about 1 hour and 30 min and the ride back took about 2 hours and 30 min. Also there was a foot path along a beautiful stream that me and my class mates walked on an saw beautiful kauri trees.

Final Step Of The Design Progress.

So for our last step today we had to put together the last options for our activities for on Anderson Ave - Street. Along the lines of many other streets like a Bagnall Street, Holland street, Waddell  ave and Taurima ave. And also the last steps for today was to put together suitable fonts for letters to hang on certain trees along the streets. And lucky last was to get suitable trees for large words and small words.

 Island and Treasure two words any pirate loves, but not like none other than the famous pirate known as Mr Topictin. He was known for his spectacular skills for treasure hunting across the world. People say he found the forbidden treasure, they even say that he found it using only his sense of smell. 

This is not the first time he’s been in stories, he’s also been in thousands of stories, even some that aren't true, he’s even in movies. But one thing a lot of people don’t know is that he wasn’t as successful in life all the time, one time his family left him to go live with their step father and as the days went by he sat and cried all night by himself. but as years flew away he soon became successful with life and kept humble for his next love.

So in this story i was told to make a funny story out of three images for a Writing Challenge using only six sentences. the first one was a teacher named Hannah M, a rowwing boat and choclate, so right here is a story that i have made for the Writing Challenge.

 Rowing down on the aqua colored ocean lies a champion named Hannah Moran, she is a rowing world champion as people would say. Normally I think she is just a stench woman that used to teach at my school. Yes I know “why would you say something like that?”  hahaha you don’t know a thing about her.

all she is known for at school is her DREADFUL BREATH smelling like POISONOUS CHOCOLATE from the toilet “uhhhhh!”. Not even the principal, staff, teachers mostly students. Lucky she left and is now at a new school where students, staff, teachers and the principal like her.

 So in my Extention group for 2021 we are learning how we can use Wind Eenergy to our advantage and what we can do to make usefull things alot better. And one of the things i learn't while in there is that six percent of the anual New Zealand Ecictricity help Wind Turbines make power. witch then turns the Wind Turbine then soon sparks the generator.
