Sky Sports New Pt England School.

On the 9th of November Pt England School was announced to be on Sky Sport News. For Auckland Netball Association, it is mainly based on how we are able to play sports with the special help of Sally.V. She has helped Pt England School for so long we wouldn't be able to play sports. Along with the help of our school principal Russel Burt.

As Sky Sports News had reported Pt England School Through a game of Netball. They showcased us on how we are able to play and able to afford the uniforms. Every day Sally gathers as many people to play Netball for the championship spot. But Most of all what Sally really cares about is us having fun.

Later after the game the Sky Sports News reporter interviewed Sally on how she was brought up with sports and Pt England School. The reporter said how humble she is how she is such a big piece of help to Pt England School. Even
if our courts are not so Perfect.

The Night.....

“Use code :Unicorn in the Item Shooppp!” In Fortnite .

One day and one night the sun came down and the moon rose up. The night became dark, with the sounds of lightning strikes and with a planet full of rain pouring down. As the hours went

by the rain and the lighting has stopped.

As darkness came across and raised upon the night, the black dark colour had changed from people's sight as the grey clouds had moved from side to side they whirled all around. Just like a kite flying in the daylight.Suddenly a star had just passed by just like gun if it was to be triggered to the other side. It flew upon houses as it glowed in the people's eyes. As people woke they quietly fell back to sleep as they gladly  went on with there week.

My speech.

1.kia Ora and welcome to the rwc 2019 hope you are watching the game and sporting your favourite team, mine is all blacks because I come from new Zealand and they do to.

2. This year the rwc had been launched in japan in the capital city of Tokyo and who plays in the rwc has rugby union not rugby league so you have to know what to do and not to do.

September the 20th was when the rwc had started. And countries from across the world compete. And there was a game where the all Blacks versed south Africa. All blacks won 23-13

5. And every 4-5 years there is another rwc and some countries play rugby union an order to win a cup but the rugby world cup which is the Web Ellis Cup. “Thank you for your time”

The Kid Who Conquered His Fear. WWE 23/10/19

Up high in the sky a boy could see many hot air balloons on his right side. He was shocked that he had never seen so much huge balloons, all he could do was imagine riding in one but because he was scared of heights he never went on. But every time that happens he’d always say “how could I conquer my fear” he felt lonely because he was the only kid that had a fear of heights.

One day he was walking and he stumbled across an oldish man like in his 40’s or 50’s. He had a wonderful hot air balloon it had beautiful patterns and decorations all over it like a decorated Christmas tree.
It was perfect the little boy even shouted “WOAH!” He ran right to it and started to look all over it he looked under, over and even inside. The man politely asked “would you like a ride my friend” the boy replied “ I have a fear of heights, I can’t get over it.

“It’s okay i'll help you,” said the man. So off they went the boy hopped in and the man started the motor of the fire went and filled the hot air balloon with air. And up went the hot air balloon, it went high in the sky, the little boy had shivers down his spine he was terrified.

“ Stop the ride stop it!” said the little boy. Quickly the man held him down and kept him calm and said softly “ it’s okay, I got you everything is just fine”. The boy had never had a fear heights again. That's The Kid Who Conquered His Fear. The End.

Wonder rock pool

Wonder Rock Pool.
:Petero.

One beautiful day at a tropical rock pool a family had thought of wonderful idea, they thought that they would build a glorious rock pool party for all of Hawaii could see.

So they all gathered flowers, bamboo, rocks and a small liquor bar. The family had so much fun preparing it for today they were gonna open up first thing tomorrow .

But before they could open they need a tropical and beach name that fits the vibe. Because what the perfect rock pool has is that it they have everything that a rock pool had ever needed.

As time went by as the family where having a debate on what the name was gonna be until a name came straight to their mind. The name was perfect it was called The Glorious Rock Pool With Love.

On the day they had opened the day was sunny and with a lovely sunshine shown against the whole of Hawaii. Sooner or later people started to hear about the news of new rock pool that had opened today.

Some of the children said “ Mum, dad can we go to see the Awesome rock pool. Some parents said “no not today Hun”. Others said “Sure why not”

Wonder Writing 14/10/2019

“Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww”
said the people.
There was a puppy who lived in the park wanting someone to pick him up suddenly
some people came and adopted him. The owners named him Scar because he had a Scar he was feeling wonderful and grateful, with a great soul and beloved heart.

He was so kind he could melt your heart like ice cream. Without doing anything.
He loved his owners and his little fluffy ball but most of all he liked to go outside into
the beautiful sun to play.

But one terrible rainy day the house was filled with tragedy and arguments and
messsss there was plates smashing against the floor (CLING!) (Wosshhhh) (Break) and pillow thrown everywhere it was a sad night day. Scar was terrified and
heartbroken he never seen his pet owners sooo mad.

He hid himself snuggled into the blanket hiding underneath the pillows with great fear.
“Me as myself felt real sad while writing this story” But as the hours went by everything
got scarier and guitar. Scar jumped out of bed searching for his pet owners.

Scar found them he was shocked they were hugging each other and regretting
everything they did that night, Scar ran across to them and hopped into the hug a
nd hugged each other to sleeepppp. The end…..

Immersion assembly term 4 2019

Today on Monday 2019 October the 14th, at Pt England School at 8.50 am
the whole of Pt England made our way across to the hall for immersion
assembly.

The purpose of immersion assembly was because we had to
find out what was our theme for term 4. “If you were a principal what
theme would you make”

First Mr Burt welcomed us with a warm loving heart, and we all were so
grateful to have a wonderful principal that no school ever had “Thanks
Mr Burt”.

After that, we sat down and waited as the atmosphere had gone
quieter, as the noise slowed down Mr Burt began immersion assembly.

Then he Started talking about our theme and before he started he greeted
himself “ fakalofa lahi atu” and we said “fakalofa lahi atu Mr Burt”!.

Suddenly Mr J asked to tell us a story it was a boy and a girl from a song
akulah uta.

Next Mr Burt said “ it’s time for team 1” off went team 1 they showed us
there amazing video about the Cinderella. That was my favorite because
of all the drama.

After that we went back to class and started to write this.

Octopus Facts

Animal Facts: Octopus

Read Houdini the October first then complete this sheet

Name, Scientific & Te Reo name:

Octopoda
kōti
Octopus
Photo/Picture:

Dietary: The good: This food is low in Saturated
Fat. It is also a good source of Niacin, Vitamin
B6, Phosphorus, Potassium and Zinc, and a
very good source of Protein, Vitamin B12, Iron,
Copper and Selenium.

Habitat: The most common area of the ocean for
them to reside happens to be along the coral
reefs and the ocean floor. They create dens
where they live and can be undetected in the
water. They will also find small crevices and hide
under rocks.
Life span: Up to 3 years - 5 years.

Appearance:  octopus would be unique for its
appearance alone, with its massive bulbous
head, large eyes, and eight distinctive arms.
But by far the most striking characteristic of
the octopus is the wide array of techniques
it uses to avoid its attacker.
Characteristics:
Octopuses are ocean creatures that are most
famous for having eight arms and bulbous
heads. Some other fun facts: They have three
hearts and blue blood. they squirt ink to hide
from their predators. and because octopus is
boneless, they can squeeze into (or out of) tight
spaces.

Size:  A pacific giant octopus highs 15 kgs

Locomotion: Octopuses mainly move about by relatively slow crawling, with some swimming in a head-first position. Jet propulsion, or backwards swimming, is their fastest means of locomotion, followed by swimming and crawling. ... Most octopuses swim by expelling a jet of water from the mantle through the siphon into the sea.

Sensing: The arms of the Octopus have
suction cups on them that are very tiny. In
them are highly sensitive feelers that allow them to touch their environment and to feel sensations from it. The sense of touch they develop from these feelers is amazing.

Do you know what has an underwater super scary roller coaster? Well
your in luck because this is the 2D-XD roller coaster. It stands for to deep
to extreme deep. It starts off as a normal boring ride then kicks in the fun
it is picking up It’s outrageous speed into the deep side of the ocean.
(swoosh) it splashes into the underwater aquarium. You could see
stingrays and different types of fish and sea creatures.

Wonder Writing about pollution.

In this dump, it is the worst thing that ever happened to this world. It is ...  pollution! Pollution that is spreading and now people are making it even worse by throwing their rubbish in our oceans, rivers and around the world.

If we don't stop our world, it will start to rot and will no longer live any longer. Why we need to stop is because we need to make a better future for our future children so that they can live a joyful life that we didn’t have.

And people are going and recycling and doing a good job but the dirtiest job they had to touch kaka, rotten food, diapers and lots of disgusting things. But the worst was a pair of underwear that had a whole polluted world in there with its disgusting brother called the SOCK. It stands for SMELLY.OLD.CRAZY.KAKA.

Capital E's Production.

This morning year 5’s-8’s at 9.00 went to a production in the hall to see capital E from all the way from Wellington to perform for Pt England School. Capital E stands for Education Entertainment and Capital for Capital City Wellington. They did acts dances and even a song made by primary school children. It was called Eat Yo Face it was quite funny but not to the point it was hilarious and my favourite. But they did one thing that was really representative to New Zealand because she did a beautiful pepeha for us to hear. Her name was Nina she is half dutch and half moari. One other performance was that they did a ASMR, they used objects that made certain sounds that sounded like the actual object. ASMR is a thing when they have objects to make sound effects without using a drum pad and other devices and that part was by sepe he is Samoan. My favourite was when they introduced themselves to Pt England School. The part was when the DJ was introduced by another female called Hannah. When the DJ was introduced he flipped out and hid himself.

report about a Polly-Keet.

Polly-keet: Polly-Keets are little in-scents. They are often called a sea worm ,they have a jaw and a mouth and legs and a tentecals that senses things that are near them. Most species have been found in the ocean, but they exist in estuaries, lakes, and rivers too. They are incredibly diverse and often comprise over 50% of the animal species found in any sea bottom sample.  It's not unusual to find more than 20 000 polychaetes living in a square metre of sand.
They contribute a huge amount of food to important seafood species like flatfish, skates, really just about any demersal or benthic larval fish (fish living on or near the seabed). All that is only a tiny fraction of their job recycling nutrients between the sea floor and the water column.  They constantly rework the sea bottom and stabilise sediments with their tubes. Some worms tubes are dense enough to form reefs which can shelter many other animals and even offer protection from hurricanes.

The bug eating TASTE TEST.1

On monday morning Monday, 24 June 2019 at school we tried candy cockroach.

First this morning we came into our class and had our class assembly with the rest of the year 5’s . And we did our karakia and our mihi and sang our waihata.

After that we went back to our home classes. Then Mrs sio talked to us and told us about that we don't have enough meat and food so we have to eat our insects. Secondly Mrs told us a disgusting story she told that we have to eat a candy cockroach.

With excitement we all screamed but we weren't scared we were nervous because we all thought something will happen to us and we might have little baby cockroach inside of us. But we faced it and went with it so Mrs Sio told us that we have to pair up with a teammate and my teammate was teejay. Next Mrs Sio told us to put a blindfold on the person who is gonna taste the cockroach.

Suddenly it was time for the bug eating taste test I was going second and teejay was going first but he was disgusted about the smell that he didn't eat it. But I faced it and rolled with it and ate it. At first it was quite sticky and it was way to soft that it got squashed and it was really slimy but I still put it in my mouth and ate it. But the taste started to kick in and it tasted like a normal sized raisin wa-

isn't quite disgusted about it but it was alright.

My funnest Moments.

On a nice fine day on Friday at school with my friends playing  outside on the hardcourt playing
touch, Exodus was teasing someone on the hardcourt, someone asked him for a Lollie but
Exodus wouldn't give him one.

First, it all started in the morning where all the laughter had been heard. I got to school early in
the morning. This is when Exodus normally turns up to school. Surprisingly  I saw him dash
through the red gates and past room 11. He wasn't quite usually acting like himself.

Sooner or later Exodus acted like an egg on sugar which he was because he had loads of
packs of lollies in his pocket. He was screaming like an animal that needed to be extinct
“actual’’.

Now, this is when he teases that someone and that someone was me, Petero Johnson “Aka the
writer’’. I was playing touch when I looked over my shoulder and stared non stop at Exodus's
lollies. I gratefully skipped over two him and asked him   “ Gee can I have one please’’.

Then Exodus pulled out a lollie out of the lolly bag and reached over to me and put his arm
out. I went to grab it so I can stuff up my mouth then going to ask for another one. “But
noooooo he didn't want to give me one and this is what he said to me’’.

“ HUT Sikkkeeee hahahahahahah”.  Lastly, he gave me one and we both laughed cheerfully
and went on with our day.

Here is some other wonder writing

My independent work.

Proofread and edit

My wonder writing about death trap.

Out in the breeze in the middle of nowhere near the trees. A male was on his bike following the track ahead, lucky he stopped before his face will be crushed. if he kept on going he would've fell off the deep cliff 20 meters down. And he would be injured really badly and with blood coming out of his whole body, and never to be seen again because no one will go there. And it might be abandoned with tape surrounding it to keep people safe.
